A very fast growing annual Milkweed, hardy in zones 8-10 or also known as a "Tender Perennial" in RVA.
Can sustain lots of munching monarch caterpillars late season. A great Nectar source for Monarch butterflies. Long stems with pods that make beautiful, unique table centerpiece. Pinch back the plant to make it bushier and with stronger stems
• The hairy pods become ripe when they turn a tan color and burst open with the fuzzy seeds
• Start seeds at least 6-8 weeks inside; easy to germinate in about a week
• Great for growing in containers or in the ground
• Blooms are cream and mauve in color and hang down delicately
