This tough and cold hardy bloomer hails from the U.S. National Arboretum collection. Single, violet-pink blooms appear over a period of four to six weeks in autumn, creating a stunning contrast to the dark green, glossy foliage. The self-cleaning petals eliminate the task of dead-heading! Use as a single specimen, for foundation plantings, or along woodland edges. Moderate growing; reaches 10 ft. tall and nearly as wide.
