A dense and compact evergreen shrub with excellent resistance to pests and disease. Cascading, glossy green foliage produces an interesting layered effect. Red-maroon flowers bloom late winter into early spring. Highly adaptable, and an ideal alternative to more ordinary hollies and laurels for borders, hedges, and mass plantings. Reaches 5' tall and wide.
